A candidate forum is planned for next week in Van Buren County. To be held Wednesday at Freshwater Community Church in Paw Paw from 7 to 9 p.m., the event will give voters a chance to meet with those currently running for various state and county offices, as well as one federal office. The program will feature short introductions from each candidate, followed by a meet-and-greet. Each candidate will have three minutes to talk about their background and why they’re running for office. After that, guests will have a chance to speak with them in person. On hand will be more than 20 candidates total. You can find out more at the forum’s Facebook page.
