Southwest Michigan had some representation at last weekend's Tea Party Patriots summit in Nashville. Stevensville-area residents Harry and Joann Burritt were there, and tell us that the event brought together a wide range of Americans, all with the central idea in mind of returning the government to its more limited roots. Harry says that it's all about staying true to the word of the constitution:

Moving forward, he believes that the Tea Party movement can have an effect on elections, both local and national. He hopes the Southwest Michigan Tea Party Patriots will invite more candidates to address their concerns in the coming year.
