Four Van Buren County men are facing charges in connection to the beating of a Fennville man last month. 24-year-old Jeremiah Barnes is charged with accessory after the fact. While 22-year-old Nicholas Brooks, 21-year-old Cameron Cole and 18-year-old Charles Soukup III were bound over Friday on the charge of assault to do great bodily harm less than murder. Bond for the four men is set at $1.4 million. South Haven Police say the men assaulted 38-year-old Charles Flanner in the 1200 block of Phoenix Street. The men will be arraigned in circuit court February 8th.
