A Watervliet man has pleaded guilty to felony charges stemming from an incident this month in which police say he kidnapped two women and committed an assault. 46 year-old Davy Hall waived his preliminary examination on Thursday in Berrien County Trial Court and entered the guilty plea to charges of false imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested on December second after police say he had a fight with a girlfriend, took her money, and then forced her and another woman at knifepoint to drive south near Coloma. At one point, the girlfriend ran into a local gas station and employees called police. Hall was picked up not long after and charged with ten felonies. However, according to the Herald Palladium, prosecutors agreed to a plea deal that reduced the charges against Hall after the victims failed to show up in court as scheduled. He now faces five years in prison, and will be sentenced on January eleventh.
