The winter blast has claimed the life of a Hartford man. In the midst of last night's low visibility, high winds and slippery roads a 58 year old man from Hartford lost control of his car northbound on CR 687in Keeler Township. He slid off the road and flipped over in a water filled drainage ditch. Police got him out and took him to Watervliet Hospital, but he died there from his injuries. His name has not been released as yet.
