Police have arrested a suspect in the robbery of the Best Western motel in New Buffalo last month. On November 25th, a suspect walked into the lobby, brandishing a gun and demanding money from the clerk. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the Berrien County Sheriffs Department released surveillance photos to get the public's help in determining the robber's identity. Now, police say that their investigation led them to 57 year-old Michael E Wade, of Michigan City, Indiana. He was arrested in Greenfield, Indiana on Saturday after another motel robbery was reported, and is now awaiting extradition to Michigan.
