Berrien County has scheduled its next round of H1N1 vaccine clinics. The health department's Carole Klukas tells us that it'll be the same as the first round in that only those who are considered in the top priority groups will be allowed to get the vaccine:
She says that kids under the age of ten should be brought back for their second shots, if they already got their first doses in the last round of clinics. With those and other efforts, Klukas says that plenty of vaccines have already been distributed in Berrien County:
The top priority groups includes pregnant women... young people between six months and 24 years ...individuals who live with or care for infants...healthcare workers...and adults with underlying medical conditions. Klukas says that health officials have been forced to turn away certain people who showed up looking for the H1N1 shots:
