A Saint Joseph couple got a visit from representatives of Publishers Clearing House this week. The sweepstakes is handing out 101 prizes of ten-thousand dollars each to winners around the country, and among the recipients were Martha and Julius Tilly. Martha tells us that on Wednesday morning, two men in a van showed up with a ceremonial check for her. She didn't see it coming:
Martha also got a dozen roses, some champagne, and balloons. She says that she's entered the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes many times:
And she hasn't yet decided exactly what to do with the money:
Martha and her husband have been married for 61 years, and have lived in Saint Joe the whole time. They have five children and several grandchildren. In all four people in Michigan won ten-thousand dollars from Publishers Clearing House this week.
