More and more schools are putting their students’ grades online for parents. Saint Joseph Schools added its Parent Internet Viewer eight years ago and Superintendent Al Skibbe says it's helped parents stay connected to their child's education.
Skibbe says the online program has worked so well that it's affected attendance at Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Skibbe says he thinks online grade cards are becoming more and more the norm in public schools. So much so that parents with children in the Lakeshore, Watervliet, River Valley, Niles and Berrien Springs school districts can check out how well their children are doing online as well.
