Lake Michigan College's Benton Harbor campus closed down Monday because of a power outage. LMC Director of Marketing Services Laura Kraklau says all day and evening classes were cancelled She says the problem started Friday when one of the college's electrical circuit's filed. That's when Kraklau says the college rerouted its power to a second circuit. But she says crews realized it too had problems Monday morning.
Kraklau says classes will resume Tuesday. The outage didn't affect Western Michigan University-Southwest and all the other LMC locations, including South Haven, Bertrand Cross and M-TEC. Those locations were open Monday.
