Two Face Charges In Break-In To Van Buren Archery Business




Two men are facing charges in the burglary of a Van Buren County business. Sheriffs Department Detective Lieutenant Brian Stump says that in the early morning hours of October 27th, deputies responded to an alarm at Kruizenga Archery, on M-43 in Almena Township, to find the place had been robbed:

Five compound hunting bows and three cross bows worth about 33-hundred dollars were stolen. Stump says that an investigation eventually led to 19 year-old Johnathan Russell Wood, and 19 year-old John Edward Taylor, both from Paw Paw:

The stolen property was recovered, and the two men were arraigned this week on charges of breaking and entering, among other things. They each face up to ten years in prison.
