As the winter season approaches, American Red Cross officials are encouraging all eligible donors to make an appointment to donate blood to help keep Michigan hospitals fully stocked with what they need to help patients. Several Red Cross blood drives are scheduled for Southwest Michigan over the next month, and everyone is asked to do their part. In Berrien County, there will be blood drives at Andrews University in Berrien Springs on the 27th, and Celebration Cinema in Benton Harbor on the 30th. There are also several blood drives planned for Van Buren and Cass Counties over the next month, and on into November. Here's a complete list:
