Saint Joseph is getting more recognition in a national publication. City Manager Frank Walsh tells us that Saint Joe appears in the July issue of Delta Skies Magazine as part of its "Great Escapes" feature. The city ranks second on the list, with Silver Beach mentioned as one of the area's standouts. The article tells readers that the beach is just a short walk from a "cute downtown" where visitors can buy souvenirs or lunch. It then says that the city is just a short distance from other small towns, antiques stores, and beaches all along the Lake Michigan coastline, which its dubs "The Midwestern Riviera".
