The New Buffalo Police Department is looking for a male suspect after an armed robbery Sunday. Police Chief Larry Pitchford says in a press release a male suspect pulled a gun and demanded a wallet and purse from the victims in the 200 block of East Merchant Street. The suspect is described as 6'2'', thin and wearing a blue hoodie with white shorts and a baseball hat. The suspect also wore large-faced or "buggy" sunglasses. Our calls to Chief Pitchford to get more information about the suspect and the number of victims went unanswered.
