The Coloma Township Police Department has released more details concerning yesterday's I-94 accident that injured 10 people. Police say the van was driving eastbound on I-94 when the driver 26-year-old Jaquita Morris reached for a purse on the floor and lost control of the car. The van hit a retaining wire, rolled several times and rested on the south side of the eastbound lanes. The Jaws of Life was used on one victim. The Pilgrim Rest Mission Baptist Church of Minneapolis, Minnesota owned the van. Coloma Emergency Medical Service, Medic One and Covert Ambulance Services transported the victims to Watervliet Community Hospital and Lakeland Regional Hospital. Current conditions of the victims range from a fractured neck to minor injuries.
