Something went wrong between a 60 year old Watervliet man and his girlfriend. Now he's in Van Buren County Jail on charges of home invasion. She told deputies her boyfriend has abused her, and she was visiting a friend to get away from him. She told police he tried to break into the home on County Road 681 in Lawrence Township early this (Tuesday) morning. He was gone by the time deputies arrived but they caught up with and arrested the boyfriend at his home in Watervliet.
