One Southwest Michigan community will welcome people from all over for wine, food and live music this weekend. Bridgman is hosting the 4th annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival at Weko Beach this weekend. Bridgman Mayor Ron Bermingham says last year the festival brought in over 3,000 people to the community. And he says that does a lot for the local economy.
Bermingham says the festival is a great opportunity for wine aficionados to taste locally-grown-and-produced flavors. He says twelve wineries will be at the event, including St. Julian, Free Run, Hickory Creek and Warner. The event starts at 1:00 p.m. and admission costs $10 with transportation included.
