An argument between a chief of police and a county deputy earlier this year has ended with the chief pleading guilty to domestic assault. The chief is Bloomingdale's John Josten. The deputy - an Allegan County officer of the law. And Josten's wife. Josten admitted that an argument with his wife earlier this year got out of hand and turned violent. As a result of the guilty plea, Josten has been ordered to stay away from his wife, away from alcohol and drugs and to get counseling. If he doesn't, he faces violating his probation and going to jail.
