A one car accident in Oronoko Township last (Thursday) night sent an area resident to the hospital. Brrien Springs / Oronoko Township Fire and Police Department and Medic 1 were called to Lemon Creek and Garr roads last (Thursday) night around 9:30. A car had driven off the road and flipped over. The driver was treated and released from Lakeland Hospital. Following his release the person involved in the crash was taken to the Berrien County Jail for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense. His blood alcohol test at the time was .147. Formal charges coming from the Berrien County Prosecutor later today.
