The Congress for New Urbanism is awarding the Andrews University School of Architecture with one of its 12 Charter Awards. The CNU Charter awards recognize professional and academic projects that promote community development and urban design. This is the third year in a row the school has taken this award. The University of Notre Dame's Kai Hu students are also among the recipients. AU got its award for its fall Urban Design Studio project in the Bahamas. Projects selected set a "gold standard" for urban design and provide examples for future community development.
