An international program for jobseekers is coming to Decatur. STRIVE Michigan will help Cass and Van Buren County jobseekers find long-term employment by getting into the minds of employers. STRIVE executive director Jamar Baker says there is also a STRIVE site in Benton Harbor, and he says that location has been very successful.
STRIVE's headquarters are in Flint, Michigan. But the program also has locations in New York, the United Kingdom and Israel. The program is funded by Michigan Works! and the Mott Foundation. Anyone interested in learning more about the program, should call 269-423-7200.
