Thursday is the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks of nine-eleven.,,and obviously, a lot of things changed after that day -- some for the better, some for the worse. One group of people greatly affected were immigrants, like Ibrahim Parlak. The Harbert area restaurant owner is still waiting for a decision on his deportation appeal...and he says that while people have treated him better than ever in the last seven years, the government has gone too far in cracking down on immigrants like himself in its effort to protect the country:
He added that the chaos caused by terrorist elements affect life in all countries, something he'd know from talking to family members back in Europe.
