After School Program To Teach Kids How To Eat Right

A healthy eating after school program starts Wednesday in Benton Harbor. Strong Women Working for Positive Change is leading the "Kids In The Kitchen" program in cooperation with Michigan State University Berrien County Extension. MSU Extension Educator Zelda Felix-Mottley says in addition to learning about the food pyramid, kids will also do fun activities to learn about physical fitness.

The program is every Wednesday for the next six weeks at the Mercy Building at 4:00 p.m. To find out more information, you can call the MSU Berrien County Extension office.
