The battle over Jean Klock Park rages on... The Herald Palladium reports the Friends of Jean Klock Park are taking their case to the Federal appeals court. Friends Vice President Carol Drake says they filed paperwork Friday in the Third District Appeals Court in Grand Rapids. The organization is trying to throw out the agreement between Benton Harbor and Harbor Shores to use the park for a portion of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Berrien County Judge Scott Schofield dismissed the case over two weeks ago.
