With the Democratic National Convention underway in Denver this week, Don Cooney is feeling optimistic. The longtime Kalamazoo City Commissioner, and Democratic candidate for the Sixth Congressional District, thinks that Barack Obama's chances in Michigan are good...and he's doing what he can to help -- including holding an event in support of Obama on Thursday, when the Illinois Senator will give his convention speech:
Cooney also says that he thinks Joe Biden was a great choice for Obama's running mate, lending foreign policy and working class credentials to the ticket.
