Even though the election is two months away... early predictions show women as the big winners in the Michigan House. A record number of women filed for House seats this year and almost half of all races include women. And 78th District Congressional hopeful Judy Truesdell says that sends a strong message to young girls throughout Michigan.
Truesdell will face off with Republican Sharon Tyler in November. She says while she is excited to see so many women running for office, the election should be about issues, not gender.
