Berrien Springs Police say that an arrest has been made in a child porn case involving a man from Indiana. It all started in March, when officers were called out to an apartment on Kephart Lane for a domestic violence complaint. 28 year-old Jeremy Park had alleged that his wife assaulted him...and although no arrests were made in that incident, it did lead to a child welfare case stemming from the poor living conditions officers saw in the apartment while they were there. As part of that investigation, Parks' one year-old daughter was taken into protective custody, and his laptop seized by police, who later found pornographic images and videos of an underage female on it. Berrien County Trial Court issued an arrest warrant for Parks earlier this month...and he was finally picked up by police in Indiana on Thursday. He's now being held in a South Bend Jail on charges of child pornography and criminal use of a computer, awaiting extradition to Berrien County.
