St. Joseph Today Prepping For Fall Festival, September 25-27

Just because the summer tourist season is over doesn't mean there aren't a lot of things on the docket in the area. St. Joseph Today executive director Jill Stone never seems to rest and is finalizing the Fall Festival, set for September 25-27.

Listen:

The second annual Rotary and Slumberland Great Bed Race will highlight Friday's festivities, with money raised going to Benton Harbor Sunrise Rotary youth programs and Slumberland's 40 Winks Foundation. Saturday the 27th will be a big day in downtown St. Joseph for the Fall Festival with the Rotary Pumpkin Festival starting at 10 am and the St. Joseph Wine Festival and Public Art Auction that afternoon and evening from 4 to 9 at Whirlpool Centennial Park. The auction is always a big deal.

Listen:

As for the cooler-than-normal summer, Stone says it didn't put a damper on tourism in the city.
