CAC Spokesperson: Democracy Overpowered By Obstacles In Benton Harbor

David Bullock is the national spokesman for Change Agent Consortium, he traveled from Detroit Monday to take part in a press conference held by Benton Harbor City Commissioner Marcus Muhammad. Bullock spoke in front of the Berrien County Courthouse of what he calls the "destruction of democracy" across Michigan.

Having traveled to Ferguson, Missouri on Sunday, Bullock says African American life is being devalued across the nation, including Benton Harbor. He says "enough-is-enough."

Bullock says the residents must have their right to vote and First Amendment rights protected. He says resources should be used to create jobs, stimulate the economy, and help strengthen democracy.

He says democracy needs to be the order of the day.
