September 4 is the next time public discussion of a CVS pharmacy being build in St. Joseph will happen. The planning commission will take up the matter at that time, becuase the city commission sent the developers request to extend Napier Avenue back for more discussion. The extension would act as a private drive for the business rather than a public street. The "Herald-Palladium" reports that decision changed the boundaries of a requested Planned Unit Development permit for the CVS, which then prompted a new hearing. After the planning commission meeting, the plans will come back to the city commission for another public hearing and a final vote. The September 4 meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall.
