Rehabilitation to the Dyckman Avenue Bridge in South Haven is set to begin in September. The Department of Public Works says work will start September 2 to the bridge's fixed spans. The moveable span will remain in operation for boat traffic through October 15. Once the channel is closed to navigation, critical work to replace the electrical and mechanical systems which operate the moveable span will happen. All work should be done by May 1 of 2015.
