BC Commissioner Suggest Purchase Of Mobile Shooting Range

Berrien County Commissioner Catherine Thieneman is speaking out about the ongoing County gun range dilemma in Coloma Township. She spoke Thursday suggesting Berrien County invest in a mobile shooting station.

Thieneman normally excuses herself every time the topic has come up during Commission meetings. She says the mobile unit can have fixed or moving targets, set up with multiple rooms.

Litigation involving Coloma Township, a group of citizens, and Berrien County is ongoing regarding the Sheriff's Department shooting range along Angling Road.

Recently the Township sued the County over its use. That trial is scheduled to start in late September.
