A Van Buren County man has been sentenced for selling guns without a license. 66-year old David Grant Rainey was sentenced to two years supervised release, with one year of in home confinement. U.S. District Judge Janet Neff also ordered Rainey to pay $4,000 in fines and costs. 71 firearms and some 94,000 rounds of ammunition were forfeited to authorities. Rainey pled guilty to charges back in April. Selling firearms without a license is punishable by up to five years in prison and maximum fine of $250,000.
