Benton Harbor Farmers Market Opens For Year On Wednesday

The Benton Harbor Farmers Market is opening for the season Wednesday from 10 am to 3 pm. During the opening day, the Southwest Michigan Planning Commission will host activities allowing community members to express what makes them proud of Benton Harbor and what their vision is for the community in the future. Additionally, the Southwest Michigan Sustainable Business Forum will be present at the market to provide recycling education in an effort to help reduce waste and promote a better environment. Throughout the summer there will be cooking demonstrations, food tastings, lawn games, and lots of other activities for people of all ages to enjoy.
