McGinnis: We Want Public Input So We Can Work Together As A Community

Stifle gang activity and create solutions to dangerous and questionable juvenile activity. That's what will be discussed at a community forum Thursday hosted by the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety. Acting Director of Police Services Dan McGinnis says the session begins at 5:30 p.m. at Sterne Place Apartments, the old Sterne Brunson School.

He recently said gang activity is on the rise in the city, and wants the public's help to halt that.

McGinnis says his department and residents together will outline a strategy during the forum to battle the juvenile and gang activity. Along with the strategy, the formation of block clubs will be discussed.
