It's Never Too Early To Start Preparing For Next Winter

A vote tonight by the Benton Harbor City Commission could be a win for the City in the battle against Mother Nature during the winter months. Mayor James Hightower says Commissioners will be asked to approve the purchase of three front plows for trucks to aid in snow removal. In his weekly YouTube address, he says a pot-hole blitz is currently happening throughout the city.

This past winter left many pipes frozen causing damage and countless leaks. The City has hired a firm to help document the leaks. Hightower says residents can expect to see work continue throughout the summer on the City's water mains. Tonight's City Commission meeting begins at 7 p.m. in City Hall.
