City Commission Votes To Accept Terms Of MDNR Grant For Parks



While the Benton Harbor Parks Conservancy goes after money from the state to help fund its projects, some elected leaders question work being done by the volunteer program. The city agreed to terms Monday for a grant through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to help fund the conservancy, but City Commissioner Marcus Muhammad is weary of how that money is being used, especially at Union Park.
