Port Huron Schools is offering the former Niles Superintendent a job to run the district. Richard Weigel resigned from Niles Schools earlier this year after the board received several complaints accusing him of bullying members of the faculty. Weigel accepted a $115,000 contract buy-out and is now considering a job on the other side of the state. Port Huron is in need of a new Superintendent because their current super retires June 30th. The school board there found no evidence to support the bullying allegations against Weigel.
