Harbor Shores In Excellent Shape As SPGA Tournament Play Starts Thursday

The wait is over for the return of professional golf to Benton Harbor and Michigan's Great Southwest. The 75th Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid starts Thursday, and tournament director Jeff Hintz tells WSJM News the course is in great shape.

Kenny Perry is echoing the comments many of his competitors at the Senior PGA Championship on the condition of Harbor Shores. Perry raved about the course during his Wednesday interview session.

Perry set the course record at Harbor Shores during the 73rd Senior PGA Championship in 2012 with a 62. Tournament play will run Thursday through Sunday, and you can hear live coverage all four days on WSJM FM 94.9 with Jim Gifford and John Jay. We will be on the air from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 3 to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday.
