Berrien County Board Urged To Hold More Night Meetings

The Berrien County Board of Commissioners is being urged to hold more night meetings. Adolf Pelzer of Hagar Township noted most other governmental bodies in the county meet in the evening so people who work during the day can attend.

His suggestion has the support of Commissioner Mac Elliott, who was asked by WSJM News if it's an option the board can get behind.

Currently, the commission holds four night meetings a year. The next is scheduled for Thursday, June 5 at Baroda Township Hall.
