Gubernatorial Candidate Schauer Laughs Off "Herald Palladium" Ad

It's a campaign ad that looks like something you'd see on a late-night TV talk show. The "Herald Palladium" printed an ad for an upcoming campaign event for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer in South Haven on Saturday, and botched the candidate's name badly. It's spelled "March Shower" in the ad, and Schauer laughed when told by WSJM News about it...

Listen:

A photo of the ad taken by Representative Al Pscholka and posted on Facebook prompting a tweet by Lansing's MIRS News asking if it means Schauer's running mate will be April Flowers. Schauer had some fun with the typo and turned into a campaign statement.

Listen:

The Democrat's campaign spokesman said the mistake was a printing error by the newspaper.
