Police and fire crews responded Wednesday to an apparent bomb scare at Martin's Supermarket in St. Joseph Township. The store and parking lot was closed to the public between 4 and 8 p.m. The Berrien County Sheriff's Department provided a K-9 unit to sweep the area and building. An employee, who wanted to remain anonymous, told WSJM News no injuries were reported that he knew of. During the closure employees were able to walk in and out of the store, as shifts were changing. We have calls out, but are still awaiting official word from police on what they found, and who made the threat.
