This Saturday marks another Drug Take Back Day in Van Buren County. The Sheriff's Office is teaming with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Medical Examiner's Office, and Health Department to collect expired, unused, and unwanted prescription medication from the public. Last October, Americans turned in 324 tons of prescription drugs. A statement from the Sheriff's Office says dropping off the meds is a great opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft. The Saturday collection begins 10 a.m. at the Family Fare on Kalamazoo Street in Paw Paw and South Haven Wellness & Rehabilitation on South Bailey Street in South Haven. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
