Aspiring engineers are seeking donations to help them get to a robotics competition. Students from both Coloma and St. Joseph High Schools have come together to represent Southwest Michigan in the FIRST Robotics World Championship. The students will go up against 400 other teams from around the world at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri. The only problem is they don't have enough money to get there. After traveling to Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti for the state competition they have exhausted all their resources. The World Championship begins next Thursday. The students hope the public will step up and help their cause by sending checks to either St. Joseph Public Schools or Coloma Public Schools. If donating, be sure to write World Championship in the memo.
