The damage estimate from a huge barn fire Tuesday night is $1.3 million. Farm equipment, vehicles, propane tanks, pesticides and 10,000 rounds of ammunition were destroyed along with the barn at the Williams tomato farm on Napier Avenue in Bainbridge Township. A cause has not been determined. It took firefighters from nine area departments roughly 7 hours to put out the fire, and they didn't have the scene cleared until around 3 a.m. Wednesday. They were called back later in the morning for some hot spots that developed.
