Police Renew Call For Tips In Fatal Hit-And-Run From October 2013

Seven months after a hit-and-run accident claimed the life of 31-year-old Becky Kershaw in Benton Township, police still have not made an arrest. Authorities remain on the hunt for a 2001 to 2007 GMC Yukon Denali that had front end damage to the driver's side from the crash. Kershaw was walking on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Highland and Britain when she was hit. Her death is the Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week as investigators are seeking new tips and leads in the case. Kershaw was hit from behind and killed just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for the information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be called in at 800-342-STOP or submitted online at michianacrimestoppers.com.
