There is no confirmation yet from authorities that a woman's body found in Lake Charles in Porter, Indiana is Dr. Teleka Patrick. The Porter County coroner's office is awaiting the autopsy results before saying for certain that the remains are those of the missing 30-year-old from Kalamazoo. Dr. Patrick's family issued a statement Sunday night saying they are in mourning, asking for privacy, and indicating they have been told by investigators that the body is believed to be hers. A fisherman noticed the remains Sunday morning, and divers found the body later that day. The lake was searched on January 23. Patrick's abandoned car was found along I-94 very near the lake on December 5, just a few hours after she was last seen in Kalamazoo. The autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
