With Michigan Individual Income Tax returns due April 15, the state encourages taxpayers to take advantage of e-filing for convenience and faster refunds. Last year, more than 70% of all Michigan income tax returns were filed electronically. Through March 19 of this year, the Michigan Department of Treasury has processed 2.5-million returns. Of those, 90% were e-filed. To access forms and instructions to e-file visit MIfastFile.org.
