Honor Credit Union is greatly increasing the number of Community Shred Days it will host in 2014. Last year, two were held for both non-members and members to get rid of confidential documents safely. Honor is increasing that to seven this year, with the first coming up on Saturday, April 5 at their Stevensville branch from 9 am to noon. All shredded documents will be "securely recycled" after being destroyed by Kent Record Management. If you have documents to get rid of, Honor will limit you to a maximum of 10 bags, bins or boxes full. Honor is focused this year on an initiative to go paperless as part of their environmental efforts.
