The Detroit Lions have signed Benton Harbor native and running back Joique Bell to a three-year contract. The Wayne State product agreed to a deal paying him more than $9-million, with $4.3-million guaranteed. He'll play this season for the $2.1-million second-round tender he was offered last week, and then get $7-million for 2015 and 2016. Bell rushed for 650-yards last season. He also scored eight rushing touchdowns. Bell and teammate Reggie Bush became the first pair in NFL history to both top 500-yards rushing and receiving in the same season.
